- Cloud Hosted Router (CHR) is a RouterOS version intended for running as a virtual machine.
- CHR has full RouterOS features enabled by default but has a different licensing model than other RouterOS versions.
- It is installed on the KVM hypervisor inside our Proxmox nodes.
- This installation uses the default Mikrotik CHR image (RouterOS version 6 and 7 available), without any configuration and without any license.
- You will need to configure it using the console available on our site, following the instructions sent via email, and purchase a CHR license from a Mikrotik distributor (we are, contact us for a quote).
